The petitioner herein has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking directions against respondent Nos.2 and 3 to release the petitioner on emergency parole in view of the marriage of his niece.

Learned APP states that the petitioner is not entitled for parole on the said ground.

It is seen that the petitioner had filed an application on 24th January, 2023 for parole. No decision has been taken on the said application till today. The respondent No.3 to take decision on the said application as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one week. Petition stands disposed of in above terms. (R. M. JOSHI, J.)
