1] Mr.B.S.Shinde, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is exploring possibility of admission to Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree course. The admission process will be commencing from April, 2022. The Committee be directed to decide the validation proceedings prior to the said date.

2] Learned AGP accepts notice for both respondents.

3] It is the case of the total lethargy on the part of the petitioner. The petitioner was issued with the tribe certificate on 26.12.2018 and has filed proposal to the

1506.22WP Committee for validation of the said certificate only on 17th January, 2022 and now has approached this Court seeking direction against the Committee to decide the validation proceedings within stipulated period.

4] It would not be possible to issue positive directions to the Committee at this stage, however, considering that the petitioner requires validity certificate for educational purpose, we pass the following order :

ORDER

[i] In case it is possible for the Committee, then the Committee may decide the validation proceedings by the end of April, 2022.

[ii] The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 14.02.2022.

[iii] Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. [S.G.DIGE, J.] [S.V.GANGAPURWALA, J.] DDC
