Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. He fairly submits that though the petitioner, by way of prayer clause 'B' and 'C', sought a declaration, the petitioner would pray for issuance of directions to Respondent No. 2 - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Jalna, to decide the representation, pending before him for considerable long time.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has invited our attention to the documents placed on record i.e. communication dated 05.04.2018 forwarded by the Head Master to the Education Officer requesting him to take decision on the issue of seniority. The petitioner himself submitted representation to the Education Officer on 07.04.2018 making a statement that the petitioner is a senior teacher and is at serial number 15 in the seniority list. In spite of above, the claim of petitioner for grant of seniority is not
{2} wp2139.19.odt considered. Grievance raised in the representation dated 07.04.2018 has again been reiterated in the reminders and last such representation is dated 12.12.2018. In the representation dated 12.12.2018, petitioner has also invited attention of the Education Officer to the Government order dated 04.12.2018. Considering these facts, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with a direction to Respondent no 2 - Education Officer (Secondary) Zilla Parishad, Jalna, to decide the representation/s of the petitioner referred above, as expeditiously as possible, and not later than ten weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
