It is an application moved by the applicants for extension of time to deposit the amount of compensation in view of order passed by this Court dated 07.01.2021.

Heard Mr. Rahul Tambe, learned counsel for the appellants / acquiring body. None present for the respondent though notice is served. Perused the earlier order passed by this Court dated 07.01.2021.

Mr. Tambe, learned counsel for the appellant / acquiring body submits that the acquiring body could arrange for the funds to the extent of approximately 20% of the amount of compensation

906-ca-1536-22 and accordingly deposited Rs.3,11,379/- with the reference Court / executing Court. He, therefore, seeks extension of time to deposit remaining approximately 80% of the amount of compensation. It would be just and proper to extend the period of twelve (12) weeks as prayed by Mr. Tambe, learned counsel for the appellants / acquiring body to deposit the remaining amount of the compensation.

O R D E R

(i) The application is hereby allowed in terms of prayer clause (A).

(ii) The interim stay granted by this Court to continue for a period of twelve (12) weeks from today.

(iii) Inform the concerned reference Court / executing Court accordingly.
