The applicant prays for modifying the earlier order of this Court dated 12/01/2018 passed in Misc.Civil Appl.No.227/2017 by which the respondent/husband was to be served by substituted service through paper publication in Daily Marathi "Sakal". It is conveyed to the Court that the said publication would cost the applicant/wife Rs.38,000/-, which is beyond her means. She is litigating against her husband who has deserted her. By this application, it is prayed that the said notice be permitted to be published in "Maharashtra Times".

Considering the above, this application is allowed. The order dated 12/01/2018 is modified as under :- [a] Issue notice to the respondent, returnable on 01/03/2018. khs/FEB.2018/1359

Matter shall appear in the "Urgent Admissions Category". [b] The applicant shall have the notice published in Marathi Daily "Maharashtra Times", Pune edition at least 2 weeks prior to the returnable date in this matter and file a copy of the paper publication on record.
