This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking directions against the respondent No.2 to decide the premature release application of the petitioner within time-frame.

Learned A.P.P., under instructions, states that the premature release application of the petitioner shall be decided within two months. A copy of the communication received by him from the Superintendent, Open Prison, Paithan, District Aurangabad is placed on record. The same is taken on record. The statement is accepted. In the light of the said statement, the petition stands disposed of.
