The Petitioners, who are identically placed, are equipped with the Revenue Recovery Certificates (RRC) pursuant to the proceedings under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, before the Controlling Authority, which is the Labour Court. The Employer did not file any appeal before the Appellate
*3* 12a45a48a61a83a86wp2734o23grp Authority and the judgments of the Controlling Authority have attained finality.

The only request put forth in these petitions is to issue directions to Respondent No.2/Collector to ensure that RRCs are executed. RRCs are annexed at Exhibit C in these petitions, which indicate recovery of certain sums towards unpaid gratuity amount.

In view of the above, these Writ Petitions are disposed off with the direction to Respondent Nos.2 and 3 to ensure that the RRCs are executed on or before 31.07.2023. A report of compliance of this order would be tendered by Respondent No.2 before this Court within two weeks from the date of execution of the RRCs or from 31.07.2023, whichever is earlier.
