This petition is filed seeking indulgence to a limited extent. The respondent has issued notice/order dated 13.01.2024, which is actually issued on 25.01.2024, asking the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.12,72,426/- towards dues. If said amount is not deposited, action is directed to be taken as given in clause 6 of the notice for attachment. Presently, the petitioner prays for time to to deposit the amount. He offers that his client would deposit 35% amount within two weeks from today, further 35% amount will be deposited within four weeks thereafter and last installment will be cleared in any case before 30th March, 2025. 02.

The request is opposed by the learned Advocate for the respondent. He submits that the dues are outstanding since long. This petition is devoid of merits and he prays for dismissal.

However, considering that the challenge raised by the petitioner is not on merits or otherwise but only to seek indulgence as submitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass following order :-

ORDER

1.

The petitioner would deposit 35% amount within two weeks from today, further 35% amount will be deposited within four weeks thereafter and last installment will be cleared in any case before 30th March, 2025.

Said relief is subject to filing an undertaking to that effect by the petitioner within one week from today. 3.

In view of the above, the Authorities not to act upon impugned order till 31.03.2025.

With above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed off.
