The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to examine the petitioners' proposal/claim on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within 6 weeks.

If and to the extent the petitioners are found entitled to receive the reimbursement, that shall be disbursed within 6 weeks thereafter.
