ORDER:

Learned counsel submits that post of Sarpanch of Grampanchayat Itkoor Tq. Kalamb ought to have been reserved for Scheduled Caste category, however, the same is reserved for OBC woman category. In 2005 the said post was reserved for OBC Woman and also in 2015-2020 the said post was reserved for OBC Woman. Learned counsel submits that successively the posts could not have been reserved for woman category.

The petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste Category. The petitioner seeks that post of the Sarpanch be reserved for Scheduled Caste category. The said post was reserved for SC category in the year 2000 and also in the year 2010. Twice the post of Sarpanch has been reserved for SC category. This time, the post could not have been reserved for SC category considering the rotation policy. In fact the grievance would be at the hands of persons from other reserved category or general category.
