Mr.Jadhavar, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioners are residents of village Ambilwadgaon since time immemorial. Their names appeared in the voters list for the elections of Village Panchayat, Zilla Parishad, Panchayat Samiti and also Parliament and Assembly elections from the said village. However, in the provisional voters list published for the up-coming elections of Zilla Parishad, the names of the petitioners did not appear in the voters list. The representative of the petitioners raised objection on 17.1.2017. The same is not considered. The same is

erroneously rejected.

3.

We have heard learned counsel for the Returning Officer and the learned A.G.P.

4.

It is stated that on 5.1.2017, the final voters list is published and from 1.1.2017 to 5.1.2017 the objections were not received with regard to the exclusion of the names of the voters and in view of that the list was finalised. Even otherwise, the polling is after two days i.e. on 16.2.2017. At this stage, no relief can be given to the petitioners.

5.

In view of that, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. (K.L.WADANE,J.) (S.V.GANGAPURWALA,J.) Dt.14.02.2017.
