The Petitioner claims to be belonging to the 'Tokre Koli' Scheduled Tribe Category. He submitted his Online proposal with Respondent No.5 for validation of his claim, on 28/11/2022. He was elected as a Member of the Grampanchayat, Waghadi, Tq. Shirpur, Dist. Dhule on 20/12/2022. The Ordinance issued by the Government protects him for a period of one year, for submitting the validity certificate.

The learned A.G.P. submits on instructions that, the claim of the Petitioner has already been rejected, since the

1337.24wp (2) Petitioner did not submit an offline/hard copy of the proposal along with the necessary documents, which is the mandate of law. 3.

In view of the above, there is no cause of action before us, since the Petitioner will have to initiate appropriate steps, as are permissible in law.

With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
