The petitioners have filed the petitions with following prayers: B.
Keep in abeyance and suspend, during the pendency of these petitions as and by way of interim relief, the operation of the direction issued vide paragraph no.3 of the order dated 24.08.2021 & 07.10.2021, Exhibit-1 hereto.

Ad interim and interim reliefs in terms of prayer clause B above may kindly be granted.

Any other just and necessary relief may be granted.

In fact, by virtue of a subsequent Government Resolution dated 14.12.2022, the State Government has issued general directions as to the modalities to be adopted in case of invalidity of the caste and tribe
claim of the employee directing them to be placed in supernumerary cadre and further directing consequential benefits. 3.
Both the sides are unanimous in submitting that by virtue of this subsequent Government Resolution dated 14.12.2022, the respondent no.2/University is under obligation to put the petitioners in supernumerary post and is bound to take further steps as indicated in the Government Resolution.
