Heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicant and the learned A.P.P. for the respondent/State.

The applicant is languishing in jail since 2019. The Honourable Supreme Court has granted bail to the other similarly situated co-accused for the reason that the trial may take time. The period of languishing in jail has also been considered. Considering the role attributed to the applicant and the other coaccused Ramdas Gite, whom the bail is granted, the applicant deserves parity. Hence, the following order :- i) Applications are allowed.

938-BA-226-23.odt ii) Applicant Popatrao Eknath Shewale, in B.A.No.226 and 228 of 2023, be released on bail, on furnishing PB and SB of Rs.1,00,000/-, with one or two solvent sureties of Rs.50,000/- each of like amount, in C.R.No.95 of 2018 at Nagar Taluka Police Station, Ahmednagar and in C.R.No. 32 of 2018 at Pathardi Police Station, Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 408 and 409 read with Section 34 and Section 3 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 1999, on the conditions that, (a) He shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses. (b) He shall attend the trial on each and every effective date.
