The petitioners in both the petitions are claiming parity with the petitioners from Writ Petition No.2788/2021 (Ganesh Narayan Nagargoje Vs. State of Maharashtra and others) and connected matters decided/disposed by this Court vide the order dated 10/07/2023,

1711.25wp et (2) whereby the concerned zilla parishad was directed to reconsider the request for grant of continuity of service.

The learned advocate for respondent Nos.5 and 6/zilla parishads, on instructions, submits that, pursuant to the direction of this Court, the petitioners in those proceedings were subsequently granted continuation. He also informs that the present petitioners stand on the same footing as were the petitioners in those earlier matters.

In the light of that, these writ petitions are disposed of directing respondent No.5/Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Beed and respondent No.6/Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Jalna, to consider the petitioners' case and take appropriate decision similar to the one taken in the matter of Ganesh Narayan Nagargoje and others (supra), as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of five weeks.
