The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending since July, 2016. The same is not yet decided. The father of the petitioner has been issued validity certificate.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for all respondents and states

( 2 ) wp 1538.18 that, the Respondent No. 2 would decide the validation proceeding on its own merits.

Considering the urgency in the matter that the petitioner is required to appear for Entrance Exam in the month of April as contended by the petitioner, we direct the Respondent No. 2 to decide the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner on priority basis and preferably by 15.04.2018. The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 22.02.2018 and co-operate in expeditious disposal of the proceeding. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. [ A. M.
