This petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Partur to take decision on the application under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today and it is accordingly directed.

The respondent No.4, on determination of the amount of compensation, in the event the petitioners are held entitled to receive the amount, shall disburse the amount so determined by the Land Acquisition Officer/ Sub-Divisional Officer, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of such determination. With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
