The petitioner is aspiring for allotment of a Fair Price shop.

Respondent No.4, who is presently running the Fair Price Shop, initiated proceedings challenging the notifcation whereby the process of allotment of Fair Price Shop was initiated. Ultimately, the dispute reached the Hon'ble Minister in Revision. The grievance of the petitioner is that, vide ex parte order dated 16.01.2020, the Hon'ble Minister has stayed the allotment process. The grievance is that the said order came to be passed although the petitioner fled a caveat on 15.01.2020,

Considering, that the ex parte order is purely ad interim, I am not inclined to exercise writ jurisdiction. It would suffice if the Revision itself is decided expeditiously. While the order impugned is not interfered with, the Respondent No.1 is directed to decide the Revision preferred by Respondent No.4, as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within thirty days from the date of appearance of the parties. The petitioner and Respondent No.4 shall appear before the Hon'ble Minister on 07th February, 2020. Separate notice shall not be necessary.

Needless to say, every contention raised in the petition, including the maintainability of the Revision, is kept expressly open.
