We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader. Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 30.07.2003, the petitioner was considered and was issued with appointment order as an Extension Officer, of course, subject to the decision of the present writ petition. It is also informed that on 16.03.2012, the petitioner is also promoted as an Agricultural Officer Grade - I. 2.

It appears that, the respondents considered the case of the petitioner and have appointed him. Thereafter petitioner is also

2 wp 1937.03 promoted meaning thereby the appointment was a substantive appointment. The purpose of the writ petition has been served.
