Heard. This application is filed by the original claimants seeking condonation of delay of 3670 days caused in filing the appeal. The proceeding is arising out of land acquisition reference. The appeal is for enhancement of the amount awarded by the Reference Court. 02.

The learned AGP opposes the application stating that the delay is more than 10 years and there is no sufficient cause mentioned for the delay. 03.

Considering the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed. It is made clear that in case the appellants succeed in the appeal, they shall not be entitled to receive interest for the delayed period. 04.
