After considering this matter for quite some time, the learned advocate for the petitioner submits on instructions that though the petitioner had registered herself in the mop up round admission counselling process, she had not mentioned any option or choices with regard to the colleges. As such, she has been shut out from the admission process as no option was put-forth. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that even stray vacancy rounds admission process has concluded. The petitioner now can only hope of applying for admission from the institutional quota. If the economically weaker section (EWS) reservation policy is applicable to the institutional level quota,

( 2 ) 922 wp 1356.23 she may request for being granted such benefit. This petition may be disposed off.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. If the petitioner is eligible to be considered at the institutional level admission round and if the EWS quota is applicable under any provision of law, she may attempt to avail of the said benefit.
