Present petition has been filed for issuing directions to respondent No.1 to decide the proposal for premature release of the petitioner, which is pending since 22.04.2024. 2.

Learned APP waives notice for all the respondents and upon instructions from respondent No.1 submits that the said proposal would be decided within a period of twelve weeks. 3.

It is to be noted that the said proposal is stated to be pending since 22.04.2024, but the learned APP states that it is pending since 18.10.2024. The chart which has been shown to this Court by learned APP states that the Committee which deals [1]

17-wp-106-2025.odt with the premature release proposals had given the opinion on 22.04.2024 that is the instructions learned APP has taken. It appears that the said proposal is moving with snail speed and, therefore, we dispose of this writ petition by directing respondent No.1 to decide the premature release proposal of the petitioner within a period of ten weeks from today.
