The very purpose of the writ petition now does not survive. The orders were issued directing the petitioner to deposit the arm on account of the elections of Zilla Parishad, which were to be held on 16th February, 2017. The said elections are already over. The purpose of the order now would not survive. The order impugned in the petition has lost its efficasy. The same would not now be in force and operative. The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
