PER COURT :- The grievance of the petitioner is, as regards the failure of the scrutiny committee to accept proposal for validation of the caste certificate issued to the him. The petitioner contends that, as a result of his failure to submit his validation certificate, the department has withheld the monetary benefit due to him. The petitioner claims to belong to Gurav caste, which is included in OBC category. He needs the certificate for securing release of terminal monetary benefits.

In view of above, the scrutiny committee is directed to accept the proposal of the petitioner for verification of caste certificate, if tendered within six weeks from today directly. It is informed that, the sons of the petitioner have been issued validation certificates. In this view of the matter, the scrutiny committee is directed to decide validation claim of the petitioner on its tendering within a period of six months.
