The petitioner is seeking direction to the Tahsildar to consider and decide his application, preferred under Section 155 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, filed by way back on 13.07.2020.

It is being pointed out that by the communication dated 25.11.2021, the Sub-Divisional Officer has also addressed a communication to the Tahisildar concerned, directing him to take steps in accordance with that provision.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 4 - Tehsildar to consider the petitioner's application on its own merits and decide it, as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with law, in any case, within eight (08) weeks.
