This is an application seeking condonation of delay of 683 days caused in filing the appeal, claiming the enhancement of compensation amount.

Learned AGP for Respondent Nos. 1 and 2-State as well as learned counsel for respondent No. 3 have opposed this application.

It is submitted that the connected matters are settled in the Lok Adalat. Besides that on merits of this application, it is contended that due to illiteracy and poverty of the applicants, they were not in a position to take expeditious steps.

For the reasons, set out in the application, delay stands condoned with rider that the applicants are not entitled for interest and any other statutory benefits for the delayed period. 6.

The office is directed to register and list the appeal for admission.
