I have heard the strenuous submissions of Shri. Karpe, learned Advocate for the petitioner. Shri. Deshmukh, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of respondent No.1 and the learned AGP on behalf of respondent Nos. 2 & 3, submit that the petitioner has a remedy available by preferring a Revision Petition before the State Authorities in view of the judgment delivered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the matter of Gurudassing Nawoosing Panjwani Vs. State of Maharashtra and others, (2016) 2 SCC 213.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities by resorting to the statutory revision available. If the revision proceedings are filed within four weeks from today, the time spent by the petitioner in this Court from 05.02.2015 till the date of the filing of the Revision Petition, shall be construed as a good ground for condonation of delay. All contentions of the litigating sides are left open.
