Heard learned advocate for the applicants, learned APP and learned advocate for respondent no.2.

The offence has been registered on account of some matrimonial dispute. Respondent no.2 happens to be the wife of applicant no.2. Rest of the applicants are his relatives. It appears that they have amicably settled the dispute. They are personally present in the Court along with their respective advocates and respondent no.2 has sworn in an affidavit before the Section Officer of the Court consenting for quashment of the crime. In view of such settlement as they have resumed cohabitation, it would be apposite, in the peculiar circumstances, to quash the crime.

We allow the application. The crime vide FIR No.0594 of 2021 for the offences punishable under sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506
