Learned APP tendered a copy of the letter dated 11.04.2022 addressed by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Sub-Division Jintoor, District Parbhani addressed to the learned APP. In that letter it is mentioned that the investigation into the offence which is the subject matter of this Petition is taken over by the said Sub-Divisional Police Officer under the orders of the Superintendent of Police, Parbhani dated 06.04.2022. A copy of the letter is taken on record and marked "X" for the purpose of identification.

This Petition is for transfer of investigation from Bori Police Station to another investigating agency or a Class-I Officer not below the Rank of IPS and mainly to CBI. However, based on this letter at this stage learned Counsel for the Petitioner does not press this Petition and seeks permission to withdraw this Petition with liberty to approach this Court again in case the investigation is not satisfactory. With this liberty the Petition is allowed to be withdrawn. Petitioner has deposited amount of Rs.50,000/- to show his bonafides, the said amount shall be returned to the Petitioner.

Criminal Writ Petition stands disposed of.
