It is submitted that the amount of Rs. 1,72,341/- is payable under the award passed by the authority under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act.

The learned A.G.P. submits that the amount has been demanded by the Deputy Collector, (Land Acquisition), Beed. The said amount is not yet received from the Government. 3.

The award has been passed in the year 2011, more than six years have lapsed, the amount is not paid. This Court under order dated 19.07.2017 also had directed the Collector (E.G.S.) Beed to release the amount of Rs. 1,72,341/- within fifteen days, as yet the said amount is

Today, also it is submitted that the demand has been made to the Government but the amount is not paid.

The respondents shall pay the amount of Rs. 1,72,341/- within a period of three months from today along with interest @ 9% per annum, considering the fact that there is gross delay in making payment. Writ petition accordingly disposed of. No costs. [MANGESH S. PATIL, J.] [S.V. GANGAPURWALA, J.] mub
