Mr. Shah, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the post of Sarpanch of Grampanchayat Laling is reserved for B.C.C. category, the same ought to have been reserved for S.C. category. The post of Sarpanch of the said Grampanchayat was reserved for B.B.C. category for the period 2005-2010, the same ought to have been excluded. The post of Sarpanch of the said Grampanchayat was never reserved for S.C. category since the year 1995. 2.

We have heard the learned A.G. P. and Mr. Kadethankar, learned counsel for respondent No. 2.

The post of Sarpanch of the said Grampanchayat was reserved for S.C. category in the year 2000-2005 and for the General category in the year 2010-2015, the same will have to be excluded. There are 35 posts reserved for B.B.C. category. The total Grampanchayats are

131. So one rotation would be completed and the post of Sarpanch for B.B.C. category is repeated. We do not find any illegality committed in the reservation.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
