This Contempt Petition is filed for disobedience of the order dated 3/5/2023, passed in Writ Petition No.5186/2023, which reads as under :

Issue notice to the Respondents, returnable on 14th June, 2023. Learned AGP waives service for respondent no.1. 3.

Service by private mode is permitted.

Respondents are directed not to finalize the tender." 2.

The respondents No.5 to 7 have filed affidavit-inreply. We have gone through the same. Paragraph No.4 of the said affidavit-in-reply reads as under :

The deponents say and submit that the gram-panchayat by its resolution dated 28/2/2023 has issued a tender for collecting tax in respect of the "Mundan Vidhi". As per the noticeo the tender was scheduled on31/3/2024. The deponents say and submit that almost six persons have participated in the tender process and have deposited the deposit amount with the Gram Panchayat. The highest bidder was of Rs.4,27,000/-. The deponents say and submit that on 31/3/2024 itself the tender was finalized, and the tender was also allotted to Mr. Amol Madhav Raut."

In view of the above, it is clear that, before the said interim order, the tender was finalised and allotted to one Amol Mahadeo Raut. As such, there is no willful disobedience of the order of this Court. Hence, the Contempt Petition stands disposed of.
