It is stated in five of the matters the appeals filed by the petitioners against the orders of the Sub Divisional Officer rejecting the applications for issuance of caste certificates are pending since the year-2016 and in three matters it is pending

4 wp 1598.18 since November-2017. The committee has not yet decided the appeals.

The respective A.G.Ps. / Addl. G. P. submits that, in case the appeals are pending, the committee will decide in accordance with law.

Considering the fact that the appeals are from the members of the same family and some of the appeals are pending since the year-2016, we direct the committee to decide the appeals filed by the petitioners expeditiously and preferably within three (3) months. The petitioners shall appear before the committee on 28th February, 2018.
