These applications are seeking condonation of delay of 271 days caused in filing the First Appeals, challenging the order of Reference Court passed in LAR Nos.757 of 2007 and 291 of 2007 dated 02.01.2016. The applicants who are claimants have canvassed in para Nos.2 and 3 of the applications that due to financial constraints, they were not in a position to file appeals at the earliest. Though other side has objected, there is no reason to doubt bona fides of the applicants. Moreover, considering the illiteracy of the applicants and length of delay, it can be condoned. In view of that the delay caused in filing appeals stands condoned, subject to applicants are not entitled for interest of delayed period and any other statutory benefits for the said period.
