The learned counsel for petitioners submits that, time to time representations are given by petitioners seeking the record. It is informed that, the old record is not available with them. The 7/12 extract would make the position clear. More land of petitioners is acquired, however, in the award less land has been shown.

We have heard Mr. Tandale and the learned A. G. P. for respondents.

The dispute probably appears in respect of non availability of the 7/12 extract. The survey numbers were in existence. After consolidation the same were converted into gut numbers. The consolidation statement is filed on record from page Nos. 36 to

41. The same shows the details of the proposed holding of petitioners.

The award in respect of the acquired lands has also been passed in the year, 1977. It appears that, for the first time the application is made in the year, 2014.

From the consolidation statement the holding held by petitioners of the respective survey numbers which is subsequently converted into gut numbers would be clear. In case, as per the holding shown in the consolidation record the petitioners make out the case of more land being acquired and in the award less land is shown, then the petitioners may approach the Authority for the said purpose. In that case authority will consider all relevant aspects while taking decision. Naturally the petitioners may have the 7/12 extracts of gut numbers. The writ petition accordingly is disposed of.
