The learned AGP raises objection to the maintainability of this petition in view of the alternate remedy available to the petitioner before the State under section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to avail the alternate remedy before the State. 2.

In view of the same, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach before the State to challenge the impugned order in this petition. In the event, the petitioner approaches the State to challenge the impugned order, the time spent before this Court will be excluded in computing the period of limitation considering the provisions of section 14 of the Limitation Act.
