Heard the learned Advocate for the Applicant and the learned APP for the State. Perused the papers on record. 2.

The Applicant has approached this Court due to apprehension of arrest in connection with Crime No. 0277 of 2024 registered with Beed City Police Station, District Beed, for offences punishable under Sections 12, 13(2), 13(1)(B) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 [in short 'P.C. Act'].

The case of the Prosecution, in brief, is that the Applicant's husband is in the Police Department and he was arrested for offence punishable under Section 7 of the P.C. Act and was granted default bail. During the inquiry into the assets of the Applicant's husband, the raids

2 942ABA192.2025.odt were conducted and cash of Rs. 1.00 Crore and odd, and valuable articles were seized. The Applicant is alleged to have abetted Accused No. 1 in commission of the Crime punishable under the above-referred Sections of P.C. Act.

The Applicant has filed her own Income Tax Return showing her independent income from agricultural property and business. The Applicant was protected by interim order dated 06.05.2025, on certain conditions. The learned APP appearing for the Prosecution submits that, as per the condition imposed in the said interim order, the Applicant attended the office of the Investigating Officer and has submitted the relevant documents. As per the report dated 26.07.2025 submitted by the Investigating Officer, the investigation in respect of the documents seized during the course of the investigation, is in progress. No case for custodial interrogation of the Applicant is made out. Hence, the following order is passed:

ORDER

[i] Interim order dated 06.05.2025 passed by this Court is confirmed.

[ii] Applicant shall continue to attend the office of the Investigating Officer as directed vide clause [B] of the aforesaid order till the investigation is over. 5.
