In the light of the statement made on instructions, this petition is partly allowed and the impugned judgments of the Labour Court dated 19/08/2000 delivered in Complaint (ULP) No.17/1997 and the judgment of the Industrial Court dated 30/08/2001 delivered in Revision (ULP) no.103/2000 stand modified in terms of Exhibit "X". 4.
