The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application for issuance of the corrected tribe certificate. The petitioner is issued with the tribe certificate of Koli Mahadev, Scheduled Tribe but the nomenclature in the certificate is Mahadeo Koli. Online application has been filed by the petitioner in October-2020 but the corrected tribe certificate is not being issued.

We have heard the learned A.G.P. for the respondents.

The petitioner may surrender the original tribe certificate received by him with the incorrect nomenclature to the Sub Divisional Officer. The Sub Divisional Officer shall after verifying and confirming about issuance of the said tribe certificate by his office shall issue the corrected tribe certificate to the petitioner with corrected nomenclature, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
