Mr. Wagh the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the election for the post of Sarpanch for Grampanchayat Chandola is reserved for SC (women) category. Earlier on 08.12.2020, it was reserved for General (women) category. According to the learned counsel, the rotation policy is not followed. No reason is mentioned for cancelling the reservation made on 08.12.2020. Arbitrary action has been taken by the respondents. 2.

It appears that in the year 2005, the post of Sarpanch of village Chandola was reserved for General category, in the year 2010 it was reserved for ST category, in the year 2015, it was reserved for OBC category and now, it is reserved for SC (women) category. It was

50-WP-2437-2021.odt the said post of Sarpanch of Village Chandola was never reserved for SC (women) category earlier to the present reservation nor it was reserved for SC category. There is also no data of the entire taluka before us.
