The MSRTC is proceeding with the promotional exercise. The Petitioner concedes that his application was belatedly filed and was not considered.

The Petitioner prays that a Writ of Mandamus for directing the MSRTC to include his name in the Zone of consideration. When called upon to state as regards the eligibility rules by which the Petitioner can be considered, neither there are any pleadings in the memo of the Petition nor are the eligibility rules placed before us.

Be that as it may, the Petitioner claims that his application has been rejected by the MSRC since it was belatedly filed.

In view of the above, we do not find it appropriate to issue a Writ of Mandamus.

The Writ Petition is disposed off.
