Heard Mr.Wakure, learned Counsel for the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner is occupying the writ plot since 1976. The petitioner had requested to record his name. Even, the Gram Panchayat has recommended the same in the year 1990 and in the year 1992 to the Collector, however, no steps are taken in this regard.

In our view, the petitioner may approach the Collector in this regard. The Collector,

2 13-wp3291.odt Osmanabad, on receiving such application from the petitioner, shall decide the same after following the due procedure under the law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably, within a period of nine months from today.

With these directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
