ORDER:

The learned A.G.P., on instructions submits that mistake has been corrected and now the post of Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Bharaswada is reserved for Scheduled Tribe (woman) category and the post of Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Nandkheda is reserved for OBC (woman) category. 2.

The learned counsel submits that the petitioner belongs to Scheduled Tribe Category. There is no woman of S.C. category elected as member of Gram panchayat.

In that case Second proviso to Rule 4-A of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat (Sarpanch and Upa-Sarpanch) Election Rules, 1964 will have to be adhered to.

Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
