IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

BENCH AT AURANGABAD 933 WRIT PETITION NO. 1722 OF 2024 NAVAL SUDAM CHAVAN

VERSUS

THE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA THROUGH THE SECRETARY AND OTHERS Mr.T.M. Venjane, Advocate for the Petitioner. Mr.S.B. Narwade, AGP for the Respondent/State.

CORAM

: RAVINDRA V. GHUGE & S.G. CHAPALGAONKAR, JJ.

DATED : 15.02.2024 PC :- 01.

This matter was heard for some time. We expressed our disinclination. The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that he would prefer an Application for interim orders for the release of the vehicle registration No. MH-21-BH-3921, by filing a revision before the appropriate authority.

02.

The learned AGP submits that the Petitioner has executed a bond that if the vehicle gets caught for the second time, he would have to pay an amount of Rs.11,70,000/. Without such deposit, the vehicle can not be released.

( 2 ) wp1722.24 03.

We are keeping all the contentions of the parties open for the revisional authority to consider in accordance with the law and the bond signed by the Petitioner.

04.

This Petition is disposed off on instructions to enable the Petitioner to avail of the statutory remedy, as is permissible. [S.G. CHAPALGAONKAR,J.] [RAVINDRA V. GHUGE,J.] snk/2024/FEB24/wp1722.24
