Though the petitioner is seeking a correction of the school record with respect to the nomenclature of the caste, albeit, in the communication dated 22.11.2024, addressed to the headmaster, he has merely sought correction in the Transfer Certificate (T. C.). 2.

Issue notice to the respondents. Mr. Yadav Lonikar waives service of notice for respondent Nos. 1 and 3. 3.

We dispose of the writ petition, with a direction to respondent No. 1 to consider the application (Annexure - 'B') and forward the proposal to the Education Officer concerned, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within four (04) weeks.
