Heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicant and the learned A.P.P. for the respondent/State.

The applicant is languishing in jail since 2019. The Honourable Supreme Court granted bail to the other similarly situated co-accused for the reason that the trial may take time. The period of languishing in jail has also been considered. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the applicant deserves parity. Hence, the following order :- i) Applications are allowed.

ii) Applicant Popatrao Eknath Shewale, in B.A.No.233, 248 and

930-BA-233-23.odt 249 of 2023, be released on bail, on furnishing PB and SB of Rs.1,00,000/-, with one or two solvent sureties of Rs.50,000/- of like amount each, in C.R.No.343 of 2017, at M.I.D.C. Police Station Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 408 and 409 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 3 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 1999, in C.R.No.507 of 2018, at Nagar Taluka Police Station, Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 408 and 409 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 1999, and in C.R.No.

139 of 2017, at Rahata Police Station, Ahmednagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 408 and 409 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 1999, on the conditions that, (a) He shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses. (b) He shall attend the trial on each and every effective date.
