By present petition, the petitioner challenges judgment and order dated 20.10.2016 passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Bench at Aurangabad in Original Application No. 200 of 2014. The original application was filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondents to allow him to attend the duties as sweeper. It was the case of the petitioner before the Tribunal that he was appointed as sweeper on daily wages on 18.05.2002 and could not join duties after 10.04.2013 on account of hospitalization of his father. 2.

The Tribunal has held that the petitioner was not appointed on any substantive post and was doing work for four hours on daily wages basis. The petitioner has not been able to show any order appointing him on the post of sweeper.

2 wp 4712.19 Therefore, we do not find any merit in the present petition. Even otherwise the present petition is filed on 01.02.2019 challenging the judgment and order of the Tribunal passed on 20.10.2016. The petition otherwise suffers from delay and laches. Consequently, the petition is dismissed without any orders as to costs.
