We have heard Mr. Jarare, learned counsel for the petitioner.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he is not afforded opportunity by the District Collector in the disqualification proceedings filed against him.

We had asked the learned A.G.P. to take instructions from the District Collector about the status of the proceedings.

Mr. Kale, learned A.G.P. submits that the District Collector has not passed orders in the disqualification petition.

He is further instructed to state that the petitioner may appear

(2) 986-wp-2398-2021 before District Collector on 08.02.2021 and file his say on the said date, so also advance the arguments. The District Collector will hear the petitioner.

In light of the statement made by the learned A.G.P. upon instruction from the District Collector, the petitioner may appear before the District Collector on 08.02.2021 and file his say and then the District Collector shall proceed in accordance with law.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
