By the first order dated 10/02/2020, this Court recorded the submissions of the Petitioner that, the possession of his land has been taken by the Respondents in 1998. No measurement was carried out, acquisition were not initiated, and hence, the compensation was not paid to the Petitioner. 2.

Considering the above, we direct Respondent No.2/ District Collector, Beed to consider the representations of the Petitioner, dated 24/08/2007 at page 16 of the petition paper-book, dated 22/02/2019 at page 17 of the petition paper-book and dated 22/04/2019 at page 20 of the petition paper-book. After perusing

2525.20wp (2) the records, the District Collector shall initiate appropriate steps within 60 days from today. If 9 Acres of land of the Petitioner have been acquired for the construction of the Percolation Tank No.3 at Limbachiwadi, Tq. Kaij, Dist. Beed, appropriate steps shall be initiated under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013, by following the due procedure laid down therein and by following the timeline prescribed thereunder. 3.

With the above instructions, this petition is disposed off.
