2] This appears to us a rare case where police protection is sought. The Police Inspector, Nandurbar police station has proposed to give such protection provided requisite fee is deposited. 3] The grievance of the petitioner is that the Superintendent of Police has not considered his request favourably. 4] We direct the Superintendent of Police to consider the petitioner's request favourably and provide police protection as per rules. 5] Petition stands disposed of.
